I am both humbled and thankful for the incredible opportunity to serve as the principal of Gatesville Intermediate School. It is truly an honor to lead a campus that is filled with such promise, energy, and dedication. As principal, I will always strive to live out our district’s mission of “Doing what is best for kids!”

We deeply value our partnerships with parents and families, knowing that when we work together, there is no limit to what our students can achieve. The future is bright at Gatesville Intermediate, and we are excited to walk alongside you and your children on this journey.

Intermediate school marks an exciting and sometimes challenging time for students as they experience many “firsts”—from transitioning to a traditional grading system in 4th grade to exploring new electives such as band and choir in 6th grade. Through it all, we are here to guide, support, and celebrate each student.

At GIS, we believe that every student can grow, and we are united in our mission to help them thrive academically, socially, and behaviorally. For our students to be truly successful, it takes all of us—staff, parents, and community—working together.

Our staff is fully dedicated to ensuring that your child reaches their full potential. I encourage you to stay actively involved throughout the year.
