FOOD FOR FAMILIES… LET THE FOOD FIGHT BEGIN!

 WHAT CAN YOU DONATE?
Non-perishable food items or cash donations! Every little bit helps, and YES, even those ramen noodles count!

 HOW IT COUNTS:
 Canned goods = 1 lb

 Every $1 donated = 2 lbs

 5 packs of ramen = 1 lb

 Rice & beans = package weight

NOW FOR THE FUN PART… THE BRAGGING RIGHTS! 

CLASSROOM COMPETITION: The class in EACH grade level that collects the most will win a PIZZA PARTY! Because apparently pizza is the universal language of motivation!  SCHOOL-WIDE WINNER: The top class in the entire school gets to ride a BUS to the FIRE STATION and appear on TV to present the school's donation check!  CAMPUS SHOWDOWN: We're going HEAD-TO-HEAD with Gatesville Junior High to see which campus can collect the MOST POUNDS PER STUDENT!

And let's be clear… we love our friends over at Junior High, but we wouldn't mind reminding them that the LITTLE HORNETS can bring some BIG competition!  All jokes and competition aside, the real winners are the families in our community who will benefit from your generosity.

So let's fill those donation boxes, show off that Hornet pride, and prove that BIG HEARTS can make a BIG DIFFERENCE!
