Welcome
My name is Kaycie Smith and I teach Reading and Language Arts. I am a graduate of Tarleton State University and this is my 8th year teaching- 7 of those being 5th grade at Gatesville Intermediate. I am a long-time Gatesville resident and I reside with my husband and college-age daughter.
This year my classes will rotate into Mrs. Dubay's classroom for Math instruction and Mrs. Lyday's classroom for Science instruction. I am looking forward to getting this school year started and learning about reading!
