Welcome

I am Alicia Meharg. I am an Assistant Principal at Gatesville Intermediate. I believe that all students can and will learn if given the right opportunities and I will work diligently to help ensure they receive those opportunities.

This year is my 31st year in education. I have taught from kindergarten through 7th grade, GT, special education, and reading intervention. I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education from West Texas State University/West Texas A&M, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Tarleton State University, and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin.
